Privacy notice

What we keep, and how to make us forget.

ticketyboo.dev is a personal practice site. The data footprint is small and the rules are short.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the newsletter we store your email address in AWS DynamoDB in the eu-north-1 region. We use it for one purpose: to send updates from this site. We do not share, sell, or hand it to third parties for any reason.

To remove your address completely, use the unsubscribe page or click the unsubscribe link in any email. Removal is a hard delete, not an archive.

Repository scans

The scanner accepts a public GitHub URL. We store the scan result and a hash of the repository for cache and learning purposes. We do not store cloned source code beyond the duration of the scan. To request removal of any specific scan record, email hello@ticketyboo.dev.

Analytics and cookies

No third-party analytics. No advertising trackers. The site uses localStorage for one thing only: remembering your light or dark theme preference. That value never leaves your browser.

Logs

Lambda invocations and CloudFront access logs are retained in AWS for thirty days for operational purposes. They contain IP address, user agent, and request path. They are not joined to any other dataset.

Contact, requests, and complaints

For data access requests, deletion requests, or any other privacy concern, email hello@ticketyboo.dev. UK and EU residents can also raise a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.
